Tactical Operations Certifications Standard Terms and Conditions for Concealed Pistol License (CPL) Courses
1. Eligibility Requirements
Participants must meet the following criteria to enroll in a CPL course:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
- Have no disqualifying criminal history or restraining orders.
- Be legally allowed to possess a firearm under federal, state, and local laws.
- Provide valid government-issued identification on the day of training.
2. Course Fees and Payment
- All course fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the class.
- Payments are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by Tactical Operations Certifications.
- Deposits are non-refundable if not canceled at least 48 hours before the registered course date.
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled course date and are subject to availability.
- Course fees cover instructional materials, lunch, and a certificate of completion. Additional fees may be required by the gun range for firearm rental, eye and ear protection, targets, and ammunition. Tactical Operations Certifications does not supply these items.
3. Safety and Conduct
- Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor.
- Participants who appear or smell under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be immediately removed from the course without a refund.
- No firearms or live ammunition are allowed in the classroom. Firearms must be secured in your vehicle.
- Any unsafe behavior, including reckless firearm handling or failure to follow instructions, will result in immediate dismissal without a refund.
4. Course Completion and Certification
- Participants must complete all required training modules and pass any required proficiency tests to receive a course completion certificate.
- Successful completion of the course does not guarantee the issuance of a Concealed Pistol License; it is the participant’s responsibility to apply through the appropriate licensing authority.
5. Liability Waiver
- Participants acknowledge that firearm training involves inherent risks. By enrolling, they agree to release Tactical Operations Certifications, its instructors, and affiliates from any liability related to injuries, damages, or losses incurred during training.
- Participants are responsible for their own actions and safety during the course.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Tactical Operations Certifications reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to instructor availability, weather conditions, or low enrollment.
- In the event of a cancellation by Tactical Operations Certifications, participants will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
7. Equipment and Attire
- Participants must wear appropriate attire, including closed-toe shoes.
- If required, participants must bring their own firearm, ammunition, and safety gear unless rental options are available and arranged in advance.
- No firearms or live ammunition are permitted in the classroom portion of the training.
8. Privacy Policy
- Tactical Operations Certifications respects the privacy of its participants and will not share personal information with third parties except as required by law.
9. Agreement to Terms
By enrolling in a CPL course with Tactical Operations Certifications, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
